Al-Masar

Al-Masar is a comprehensive web-based People Locating & Automated Vehicle Location (AVL) services. The application allows subscribers to locate employees and/or track vehicles and other assets, quickly and easily, by determining the location of their suitable wireless devices using the Al-Masar service at: www.almasar.com.sa

Combining the accuracy of GPS technology with Cell Site Location Technology, Al-Masar allows you to see the location of each person with our Bravo handset and track each vehicle equipped with our AVL Box-HS device on a digital map using a web browser.

With Al-Masar, you will be able to provide faster response times to customer service calls, make more efficient use of your field force resources, and offer added security for mobile employees.

Al-Masar – Handset Locating

Customers interested in locating their employees, simply can use our bravo GPS enabled Handsets. Two locating modes exist with Al-Masar application: Live and History. If the user wants to know the current (last available location) of one or more employees, he will request the Live Locate function. For History locations, the user needs to select the start/end date and time for one object only at a time and request the history locations to be displayed on the map.

Al-Masar – Vehicle Tracking

Customers who want to use Bravo's Al-Masar solution with improved position accuracy and detailed tracking, need to install an AVL Box-HS device in their vehicle. Designed for vehicle tracking, our AVL Box-HS is the mobile component that works in conjunction with Al-Masar's java web site. The user can track boxes in Live and history modes; in addition, an extra option exists for monitoring the selected objects in live mode. By monitoring the new locations of the objects are automatically refreshed as new data is received into the server. The AVL Box-HS will also store position reports, should the device be out of coverage or disconnected. Once connected or back in coverage, the stored position reports are then forwarded on to the Al-Masar system.

Bravo Tracking System (BTS)

Employee Finder

Employee Finder is a service that offers supervisors or managers the ability to locate team members using their Bravo handsets with no need of any applications or software. The supervisor can send an SMS message from his "Bravo" handset to 3463 (FIND) with the number of the employee to be located (PTT), the server will shortly respond, sending back an SMS with the employee's location, naming the city, vicinity and street, in addition to the nearest geographic landmark such as the name of a restaurant, a gas station, a bank.

The location address is displayed in Arabic by default, however, by adding number "2" after the employee's PTT in the initial SMS, the address will be retrieved in English.
